What you need to know about putting solar power on your house

While I have been driving around New Rochelle over the last few months, I have noticed a few homeowners having solar panels or photo voltaic (PV) systems installed on the roofs of their homes. So I have done some research into what it would cost and what are the tax benefits and incentives  for homeowners in New York State to have these arrays installed. In this blog I have added links that should answer your solar power questions.
Before you start calling contractors to get cost estimates on installing a photo voltaic (PV) array, Con Edison has created a cost estimator for you.

Other questions you may have are what incentives are there for the solar power equipment.

I found that the New York State government website had a  lot of useful information that may help homeowners make a decisions if they want solar power.
