The Final Lower Westchester Residential Real Estate  Sales Report for 2015

I have compiled the sales data for the 2015 real estate year for Single Family Homes, Condominiums, and Cooperative apartments for lower Westchester County.  Please scroll down through this post to see how the the communities stack up.  Also, if I left out a community you like or you are interested in a particular area that is not covered please let me know so I can retrieve that information for you. I can also provide you more detailed information on particular neighborhoods within these communities if you request it by filling out the contact form below.

*As a side note, what I found interesting with this data was that Mamaroneck, NY “The little power house on the sound” was the WINNER! With a higher total price of all homes sold at $409,436,429.  This is more  than Rye, Scarsdale and Harrison. So hats off to Mamaroneck, NY.-

  • There were 236  single family homes sold in White Plains during 2015
  • The lowest price home sold was for a 2 bedroom 1 bath 877 sqft home for $280,000 that was on the market for 6 days.
  • The highest price sold home was a 7 bedroom 8 bath home with 6391 sqft that sold for $2,250,000
  • The Total for all houses sold in White Plains was $164,848,831
  • The Average Days on the market was 74 days

Condominiums

  • 199 Condominiums were sold in White Plains during 2015
  • The lowest price was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 533 sqft unit that sold for $147,000
  • The highest price unit was a 4 bedroom 5 bath unit with 3836 sqft that sold for $2,300,000.
  • The total for all condominium sales in White Plains was $121,394,798
  • The average days on the market was 67 days

Cooperatives (Co-ops)

  • 228 co-ops were sold in White Plains during 2015
  • The lowest price was for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 400 sqft unit for $48,000
  • The highest price was 3 bedroom 2 bath 1900 sqft unit for $555,000

  • There were 56 Condos sold in New Rochelle during 2015.
  • The lowest price was a 1 bedroom 1 bath 750 sqft unit for $222,000

  • The total for all homes sold in Larchmont was $165,274,285
  • The Average days on the market was 44 days\

Condominiums

  • 1 Condo was sold in Larchmont during 2015, it has 2 bed rooms and 3 bathrooms and was 1500 sq feet.  It sold for $630,000 after it was on the market for 128 days.

Cooperatives

  • There were 16 sold units in Larchmont during 2015.
  • The lowest price was a studio 1 bath 500 sqft for $101,000
  • The highest price was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 1600 sqft unit for $400,000
  • The total for all co-ops sold in Larchmont was $3,087,000
